Will the 2025-26 Salary Cap Increase More Than Expected?

Over the past three seasons, the NHL salary cap has climbed from $82.5 million in 2022-23, to $83.5 million in 2023-24 and to $88 million in 2024-25. In early October, commissioner Gary Bettman said the the cap could rise by $4.5 million to $92.5 million for 2025-26.
