Jack Studnicka, Vancouver Canucks
This month’s player spotlight is on Windsor, Ontario native, Jack Studnicka. In 2015, Jack was selected 21st overall by the Oshawa Generals in the Ontario Hockey League’s Priority Selection. Jack went on to play over 250 games in the OHL, amassing 80 goals and over 230 points over four seasons. During this time, Jack was selected 53rd overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and just two months later, signed his first NHL contract. Most recently, Jack was acquired by the Canucks, as he and his new teammates look to “right the ship” in Vancouver.
