Shane Wright, Seattle Kraken

This month’s player spotlight is on Burlington, Ontario native, Shane Wright. In 2019, Shane was selected first overall by the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. Shane went on to play over of 120 OHL games with the Frontenacs’, amassing over 160 points during his tenure. At the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Shane was chosen 4th overall by the Seattle Kraken. Shane made his NHL debut this past fall, followed shortly after by his first NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens.
