Sean Walker, Carolina Hurricanes

This month’s player spotlight is on Keswick, Ontario native, Sean Walker. Despite going undrafted, Sean signed an entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings in 2018, following a standout college career at Bowling Green State University. Known for his mobility and two-way game, Sean spent five seasons with the Kings, before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023. After a strong season in Philadelphia, he was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche at the 2024 trade deadline. In July 2024, Walker signed a five-year deal with the Carolina Hurricanes, continuing to establish himself as a reliable and steady presence on the blue line.
