Jamie Oleksiak, Seattle Kraken

This month’s player spotlight is on Seattle Kraken defensemen, Jamie Oleksiak. In 2011, the NCAA freshman was selected fourteenth overall by the Dallas Stars in the NHL Entry Draft. Just over a year later, Jamie turned pro and has spent nine of his eleven NHL seasons in Dallas. On 21-Jul-21, Jamie inked a five-year contract with the NHL’s newest franchise, the Seattle Kraken.
