Paul Byron, Montreal Canadiens

This month’s player spotlight is on Montreal Canadiens’ forward, Paul Byron. The Ottawa native was selected 179th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. After several “up and down” seasons between the Sabres’ and Flames’ organizations, Paul was claimed on waivers by the Montreal Canadiens in 2015. Paul has since achieved career-highs in all statistical categories and continues to be one of the Canadiens most impactful and consistent forwards. On 23-Sep-18, Paul signed a well-earned four-year, $13.6 million-dollar contract extension. Click the link below to learn more about Paul’s amazing story.
