Cole Perfetti, Winnipeg Jets

This month’s player spotlight features Whitby, Ontario native Cole Perfetti. Following an outstanding OHL career, Cole was selected 10th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft by the Winnipeg Jets. Since making his NHL debut in 2021, he has established himself as an important part of the Jets’ young core, recording nearly 160 points in 290 NHL games. One of the most memorable moments of his career came during Winnipeg’s first-round playoff series against St. Louis in 2025, when he scored the latest game-tying goal in Game 7 history. Most recently, Cole signed a five-year, $30 million contract extension with the Jets, a testament to the organization’s confidence in his future.
