Ryan Strome, New York Rangers
This month’s player spotlight is on Mississauga, Ontario native, Ryan Strome. While playing for the OHL’s Niagara Ice Dogs, Ryan headed into the 2011 NHL Entry Draft as one of the draft’s most talented prospects. It took just five picks before the skilled young forward was selected by the New York Islanders. Since entering the NHL is 2013, Ryan has amassed over 620 NHL games, splitting time between the Islanders, Oilers and Rangers. Since moving to Broadway in 2018, Ryan has established himself as one of the Rangers’ most important players, helping push the team into the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals.
